Overcoming of space and time fixation

The site is situated on the interface between two different urban morphological systems: the linear setting of the new district from the XIIIth century and the grid structure of the XIXth century. The concept takes the coordinates of the grid and thus enriches basic microstructure of the blocks with the progressive accent. So it is possible, the whole depth of the site is activated and can be built with good spacious qualities. The architectonic posture of the project – space as experienceable membrane – stands in contrast to the architectural theoretical approach of the XIX century, where the meaning of the inner space, the actual principal architecture object was pushed back against formal, stylistic and decorative effort.
With the linear regulatory system the floors are divided into platforms and daylight voids. So separate platforms float near and over one another in one big space continuum and built the holistic with the big membrane. The connection of all the height layers through their common air volumes, does not only let the space look optically generous, but promotes communication as well and enables unified connection of complexity and clarity.
